The Parliament has adopted amendments to the Working Time Act

The Parliament has adopted amendments to the Working Time Act! From the 1 August 2011 employers can allow employees to work extra hours without special permission from the Swedish Work Environment Authority if there are special reasons for it and the situation has not been possible to settle otherwise reasonably. In the case of emergency overtime needs employer no longer seek permission from the Swedish Work Environment Authority. Additionally, safety request action with the support of the Working Hours Act if the employer does not follow the rules on extra overtime, additional overtime and emergency overtime.
